Thursday turned out to be another difficult day. Several kids were invited for the first day of organised activities in the Drop-In Centre...but they didn't turn up. Eventually the team went out and invited some other kids who gladly came. They spent 90mins in the showers (!) and then went through the rest of the program. There was a little conflict between Mexican team members which was also discouraging. So it was a discouraging morning but there are things to be learned.Please continue to pray for the unity of the Proyecto MEFI team. Pray for wisdom, especially for Andrew as he confronts and works through this issue with them.
The program will be run again, taking into consideration some of the issues raised at this event. Continue to pray that the Drop-In Centre will be a place where God is glorified and kids' lives are turned around.
