Retreat

On Tuesday we set off for the retreat. Alex and Paty came with us and the 3 hour journey went well. Praise God for Dramamine and a portable DVD player! Thanks for your prayers.

It was incredibly hard work for us. Away from home neither kid slept particularly well and a lot of what we had to do was try and control an over-tired Tabitha. Oscar also had some trouble with a tummy full of wind in the evenings. We have decided to take him off one of the medications he is taking to see if it helps. We'll see what the doctor says on Friday when he gets his next set of jabs.

Apart from that it was nice to spend a little more time with our co-workers. It's so hard to find time to spend with them all. We work alongside some great people. Praise God for a chance to come together and be energised in the work we are doing together.

View of active volcano Popocatepetl from where we stayed (taken far too early in the morning by a fellow missionary!)
