In a week

This is the great team that was here working in the Drop-In Centre this week. It's the third time a team has come down from Ardmore. This time the purpose was to lay a new concrete floor.
There was a lot to do in preparation. The concrete was ordered for Wednesday. Here the sand and metal supports are going down.
There were several set backs during the week. The contact with the concrete guy fell through in a really strange turn of events. The police showed up the day the concrete was going in looking for a permit which we hadn't realised was needed. It all worked out in the end...
It's hard to tell from a photo just how dirty and hard the work was. Check out the video below and you'll see some of the ex-street kids really earning their pay!
